This is an oldie-but-a-goodie illo of Jefe, from Scurvy Dogs. It's actually, perhaps, my most favorite illustration of Jefe that I've ever done. Uber-Editor exxtreme, Maureen McTigue, is in possession of the original art, which was commissioned to accompany Andrew's and my interview in Vampirella magazine all those many moons ago.

SAGE Magazine Cartoon

I found this cartoon of mine recently, which was published in the first issue of Yale's environmental studies magazine, SAGE.

Personally, I've always had a hard time with the "cartoon" format. Either single-panel or 3-panel. My mind just doesn't seem to work that way, so everytime I do one, it's like pulling teeth to get concepts I like. I'm sure if I practiced more, it would come easier.
