American Space Ninja (In Space)
This post shoulda been up a year ago. Oh well.
Andrew Boyd and I (Ryan Yount) have teamed up again to produce the "spiritual successor" to Scurvy Dogs...
... American Space Ninja (In Space).
One issue, printed ashcan-size (read: minicomic) was produced for last year's STAPLE show in Austin. We still have some copies left. Brian @ Khepri would have them, but I was too lazy to mail him a stack.
So if you want one, you'll have to pester me.

You need to make shirts that say "Ninjas are the new ninjas". I'll be looking for you at WonderCon! Come by the Tripwire table so we can talk! (www.tripwireannual.com) -- Andy

Hello Ryan,
I picked up a copy of American Space Ninja (in Space) at STAPLE -- we may have traded for my Grasshopper Mouse mini, I'm not positive -- and I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. The ink wash is very effective, particularly the gray linework in the backgrounds of the flashbacks.
I'm not a particular fan of ninjas, but this is a really fun read. The story has a great balance of silly/serious in the tone, and the images (and character designs) have a great energy to them.
Thanks!!
