San Diego Comic Con
I'm back from Comic-Con '06. Fun times were had by all.
Rob Osborne, the creator of "1000 Steps to World Domination" and "Sunset City," was my roomie this year for the con and we had a blast. Expect to see some sort of collabo-project in the future.
Thanks to the Scurvy Dogs fans who turned out for our signings at the AiT booth. Your continued appreciation and love of the book is appreciated and loved by Andrew and me. There's nothing better than meeting you guys and gals and having our egos inflated by your praise.
It seems like more and more people have read and heard about Scurvy Dogs, which is cool considering its readership growth is due entirely to word-of-mouth by fans, who pass it on to their friends, or in the case of a couple of the shop owners we met this year--by fans who happen to be retailers, recommending it to their customers.
Noted actor and voicemaker SETH GREEN said he knew of Scurvy Dogs, when confronted by yours truly at the Hyatt bar on Thursday night. He admitted he just knew of it, but hadn't read any of it, so I'm more inclined to believe that he was telling me the truth and not just being drunk.
Incriminating Con pictures to come--mostly from other people's cameras, as mine died on the first day down there.
